It’s That Time of Year! As we expand our services in response to the needs of the most vulnerable during the pandemic, your support of our Annual Giving Campaign is more important than ever. Keep your eyes out for a letter from Bruce and please consider giving online at www.neighborride.org or via check to: Neighbor Ride – 5570 Sterrett Place, Suite 102 – Columbia, MD 21044.
SWAP Partnership We are excited to be joining Grassroots, HopeWorks, and FIRN in partnering with students from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) on a project aimed at increasing the professional resources available to nonprofits. Known as SWAP, the project would facilitate the exchange of skills and talents between organizations – letting Neighbor Ride, for instance, lend its volunteer management expertise to one nonprofit, while borrowing event planning support from another. To expand the pool of shareable talent, participating organizations have been asked to survey their volunteers to gauge the availability of additional skill sets that might be offered. Please click HERE to complete the survey.
