NR’s services are invaluable to me. I recently moved to Howard County and have needed transport to medical appointments. It’s been a great comfort to be able to rely on this service. I’m impressed with all aspects, especially the wonderful volunteers. Thank you!

“This is the second incidence in the past few years when I needed to use your services. I am very impressed!

Obituary

It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we share the news that our dear friend, Phyllis Madachy, passed away on Wednesday, February 26th. Before Neighbor Ride even opened its doors, Phyllis was there championing our mission. She took the time to personally meet with our first Executive Director and others to provide input as we developed the policies and procedures that still guide us today. She served on our Board of Directors for four years, leading us as Board President during the final two. After retiring from the Board, Phyllis continued to support Neighbor Ride – playing active roles in our Board development efforts and Anniversary Celebrations, graciously making herself available time and time again for brain-storming sessions, and generously participating in our fundraisers and annual giving campaigns. Our thoughts are with her family.
