A Big Thank You!

Neighbor Ride volunteers certainly have been busy driving of late but volunteers have contributed in other fun ways too.  Thanks to Maryland Day of Service volunteers, Casey O’Brien and Donna Dennis who posted fliers all over town  and Nicolette Querry who took photographs of several passengers and drivers.

Catherine and Don Jones worked at the Church of the Resurrection Health Fair promoting Neighbor Ride.  Thanks to Catherine and Don!

We also want to thank those who worked at our table at the 50+ Expo:  Bob Englebach, Karen Trudel, Jeannie and Louie Kranefeld, Carole Graves, Lynn Layug and Rick Fornadel.

Maryland’s Move Over Law

The “Move Over” traffic law has expanded to include waste/recycling trucks and transportation, service and utility vehicles with yellow/amber flashing lights or signal devices; already covered under the law are tow trucks, emergency response vehicles and law enforcement vehicles.  If drivers cannot safely get over, the law requires them to slow down to a safer speed.

2019 is Upon Us!

The always popular paper planning calendars are here!  Stop by and pick one up Monday through Friday between 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.

 Passenger Comments

“My driver, Bill, is most helpful, kind and considerate.  I don’t know what I would do without him.”

“My husband really enjoys and appreciates you and the other Neighborride folks.  Not being able to drive has been hard on him.  It sounds strange, but being able to get help from Neighborride makes him feel more independent, since he hates to rely on me to drive him everywhere.  THANK YOU.”
