COGS EVENT

The Coalition of Geriatric Services (COGS) invites you to a dazzling night of fundraising to benefit Neighbor Ride and the Vivian Reid Fund.  COGS is partnering with Ironbridge for the fabulous wine tasting portion of the evening.  Tickets are $85 or $150 per couple and can be purchased by calling Neighbor Ride or by clicking here.

NR Receives United Way Funding for ALICE® Project

We are proud to announce the creation of a pilot ride subsidy program based on the United Way’s ALICE ® Report. Our ALICE® Pilot Program will run for the period of Oct 1, 2017 – 6/30/2018 (or until pilot funds are depleted).

This fund will allow us to subsidize rides for passengers who do not qualify for the Good Neighbor Fund but are still income constrained.  Clients who qualify for our ALICE® Pilot Program will receive a $10 subsidy (or up to fare of ride) for each ride taken – meaning they will pay nothing for $6, $8 and $10 rides and receive a $10 credit against all other fares. Funding for this pilot is made possible by a grant from the United Way of Central Maryland.

Letters have been mailed to all non-Good Neighbor Fund passengers inviting them to take advantage of this program.

ALICE- Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed. For more information and the full report go to United Way of Central Maryland’s website.
